COMPONENTS
*HYDROCARBONS are reactive organic chemicals released into the atmosphere from environmental sources Such as gasoline and diesel fuel exhaust, oil heaters, volatile solvents and industrial wastes. *SULPHUR DIOXIDE is generated by the burning of wood, coal and petroleum products. It is also a problem in well waters imparting a distinctly disagreeable odor of rotting eggs.
*SULPHUROUS ACID is a companion to sulphur dioxide, both pollutants are common to urban areas. It is also a principal ingredient of “acid rain”.
