*DIATOMACEOUS EARTH (D.E.), the silicosis fragments of various species of diatoms, has shown to be of benefit in radiation toxicity. It is also known as fossil flour or infusional earth.
*PECTIN, from fruits such as apples, is a natural radiation protective substance.
*SEA VEGETATION or kelp, with its high alginate content, is recognized for its detoxifying effect.
