HOMOTOXICOLOGY

Updated: Jul 11, 2021

Homotoxicology is a German model of medicine. "Homo" is derived from a Latin word meaning "human." "Toxicology" is a science that deals with toxins. Therefore, "Homotoxicology" is the study of human toxicity.

There are 6 phases in Homotoxicology representing the phases the body uses either to eliminate toxins or deposit them in some part of the body in an attempt to maintain health. The six phases are listed below.

* Phase 1: Excretion

* Phase 2: Reaction

* Phase 3: Deposition

* Phase 4: Impregnation

* Phase 5: Degeneration

* Phase 6: Neoplasm

Here is an example of how the phases work. The body starts at Phase 1. This is where the body comes into contact with a toxin such as breathing in a toxin. In Phase 1 the body would try to excrete the toxin by sneezing, coughing, sweating, vomiting, or pushing it through the urine and feces. If the body is unsuccessful at excreting the toxin it then moves to Phase 2.

In Phase 2 the body begins to react to the toxin through inflammation. Here is where the body produces a fever, mucous, swelling, etc. This is the natural process the body uses to move the toxin back to Phase 1 where it can be excreted. If this process is stopped for any reason the body moves to Phase 3.

In Phase 3, the body takes the toxin and deposits it somewhere in the body. This idea is that when it gets enough resources it will come back later and get the toxin and move it out through Phase 2. If this doesn't happen and a new toxin comes in, the body will move to Phase 4.

Phase 4 is the impregnation phase. This is created when the body places a toxin on top of another toxin. Now the area is unable to continue to function and move to Phase 5.

Phase 5 is the degeneration phase. This is where the body stops functioning properly and begins to break down. Many people die in Phase 5. Some of the disease processes that are listed in Phase 5 are fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, lupus, tuberculosis, and heart attack. (Some people move through phase 5 without symptoms other than fatigue.) If the body continues to accumulate toxins, it will eventually move to Phase 6.

Phase 6 is neoplasm, also know as the cancer phase.

Detoxification

If the body has what it needs, it can move in reverse order through the phases and eventually excrete the toxins. BioEnergetic Evaluation can help us see which toxins the energy system resonates with and what support it needs to move them out.

Emotional Relationships to Homotoxicology

This is a whole other area relating to homotoxicology. It has its own 6 Phases for detoxification or toxification. Many people who overcome cancer only to see it reoccur have an underlying emotional issue that has not been addressed.

There is a lot of research showing that belief systems and toxic emotions are behind the disease process. The emotional relationships to Homotoxicology helps to map an individual's issues and come up with a plan that will help that person let go of those issues. This frees up energy so the physical body can utilize it for the healing process.
