Topical Botanical Blend - Skin Conditions, Fungi, Athlete’s Foot
Product Details: MycoDerm contains a unique blend of botanical ingredients designed to support and assist with a broad range of skin conditions. These botanicals have been used individually and collectively by herbalists seeking to provide topical relief from fungal conditions, as an antiseptic and antimicrobial, as well as assisting with the regeneration of skin and tissue. A key ingredient, Lomatium, has been mostly noted for its use as an immune-enhancing herb and as an antiviral for upper respiratory issues, but has also been used for Candida and other fungal-related issues. Another key ingredient, Lemon Balm, contains tannins and other polyphenols shown to deter certain viruses that cause mumps and herpes.
MycoDerm offers a topical remedy of Lomatium and Lemon Balm along with other synergistic herbs that provide relief and healing to irritated skin due to fungal and bacterial issues. These include: Echinacea and Propolis, which both support the immune system and relieve inflammation, and Goldenseal, Myrrh and Comfrey which have also traditionally been used for their antimicrobial properties that support the immune system and encourage skin recovery.

Key Ingredients:
Fernleaf Biscuitroot (Lomatium dissectum) – Also known as wild prairie parsley, it has been used traditionally by American Indians as medicine for pneumonia, respiratory relief and respiratory infections. Other herbalists have also used Lomatium for chronic fatigue,
Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) – Traditionally used topically for cold sores, herpes sores, mumps and bug bites. It also has been shown to be helpful for indigestion, stomach disease, gastric spasms, insomnia, nervousness, nerve pain and heart disease. Black Sampson Echinacea Tops (Echinacea angustifolia) – Traditional therapeutic uses for topical application of Echinacea include the treatment of wounds, inflamed skin conditions and bacterial infections. Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis) – Goldenseal has been shown to contain the phytochemicals berberine and hydrastine. These components give Goldenseal an antimicrobial effect that is antibiotic, antiseptic, antifungal, antiparasitic and antiviral. Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha) – Folklore suggests that myrrh has antibacterical properties, but it has mostly been used for abrasions, athlete’s foot, canker sores, dermatitis, scaly skin conditions, gingivitis, asthma and bronchial disease. Propolis – Bee propolis is a brownish resinous substance collected by bees to seal their hives, and because of its antimicrobial properties, it keeps hives free of germs. There is evidence that propolis has some broad antimicrobial activity and that it may haveanti-inflammatory effects that could make it useful in the treatment of some forms of arthritis. Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) – The name comfrey is derived from a Latin word meaning “grow together” and “heal.” It has been used traditionally for bruises, joint sprains, to speed wound healing and encourage new skin and cell growth.
