Colon Clear

Say goodbye to sluggish bowels!

Product Details:

Sluggish bowels require gentle stimulation to move toxins out and initiate healing. Toxins that

are not quickly eliminated accumulate in the large intestine, leading to illness, low energy and

discomfort. Colon Clear combines several well-known wildcrafted and organic botanicals to

both gently stimulate and support the bowels. Gentle stimulation is assisted by the use of

Organic Turkey Rhubarb, Wildcrafted Cascara Sagrada and Wildcrafted Aloe. Cleansing is assisted

by utilizing the antifungal, antiseptic and antiviral properties of Wildcrafted Black Walnut

Hulls, Organic Sage Leaf, Wildcrafted Barberry and the bile-stimulating properties of Organic

Dandelion Leaf. Support is assisted by the soothing properties of Organic Slippery Elm Bark

and the digestive aid of Organic Ginger Root.

Recommended Usage:

1-3 capsules once daily, or as directed.

Synergistic Considerations:

*Synergistic administration with Pure Body Clear in a 2:1 ratio suggested.

(2 capsules of Pure Body Clear to 1 capsule of Colon Clear)

Key Ingredients:

Organic Turkey Rhubarb (Rheum palmatum)

Used in both traditional and Chinese botanicals for constipation. Anthranoids in Rheum palmatum cause an increase in the volume

of intestinal contents resulting in pressure and stimulation of intestinal peristalsis.

Wildcrafted Cascara Sagrada (Rhamnus purshiana)

Used traditionally for constipation, relief of defecation with anal fissures, hemorrhoids, and as a recto-anal postoperative treatment.

Anthranoids in Rhamnus purshiana cause an increase in the volume of intestinal contents resulting in pressure and stimulation of

intestinal peristalsis.

Organic Sage Leaf (Salvia officinalis)

Sage has antibacterial, fungistatic, virustatic, astringent, secretion-promoting and perspiration-inhibiting effects.

Wildcrafted Aloe (Cape Aloe, Tap Aloe, Bitter Aloe) (Aloe ferox)

Widely used to relieve constipation.

Wildcrafted Barberry Root (Berberis vulgaris)

Barberry Root has been used for ailments and complaints of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, gall bladder, kidney and urinary tract,

respiratory tract, heart and circulatory system. Has been called a “blood purifier” with antibiotic effects and stimulation of intestinal

peristalsis.

Organic Ginger Root (Zingiber officinale)

Ginger is widely used to increase peristalsis in the intestines, assist with loss of appetite, assist with motion sickness and aid dyspeptic

complaints. It contains phytochemicals like gingerols and shogaols to aid with stomach upset and encourage peristalsis, yet curbs

both diarrhea and vomiting. Another ginger phytochemical, zingibain, is a proteolytic enzyme that counteracts inflammation.

Wildcrafted Black Walnut Hulls (Juglans nigra)

Walnut Hulls aid with catarrhs of the gastrointestinal tract. In China, one of its uses is for constipation.

Organic Dandelion Leaf (Taraxacum officinale)

Dandelion has been used internally for disturbances in bile flow, inflammatory conditions of the efferent urinary tract, dyspepsia,

flatulence, loss of appetite, and liver and gall bladder disorders.

Organic Slippery Elm Bark (Ulmus rubra)

Slippery Elm Bark has long been used in Native American healing for the treatment of gastritis and gastric or duodenal ulcers. It is

a demulcent, emollient, and soothing to the alimentary canal. Also soothes inflamed and irritated mucous membranes all along the

gastrointestinal tract.
